Description
Simple hairpin carved from bone. In the Roman Period, unlike the Pharaonic and Ptolemaic Periods, the hairpin was a fashionable item to be worn as part of elaborate hairstyles, one of the many changes in material culture under Roman rule.

Eenvoudige haarpin uit been met bolvormige kop. In tegenstelling tot de faraonische en Ptolemeïsche perioden, was de haarpin in de Romeinse Periode een modieus onderdeel van ingewikkelde kapsels, een van de vele veranderingen in de materiële cultuur onder de Romeinse overheersing.
Simple épingle à cheveux taillée dans un os. Durant la Période Romaine, contrairement aux Périodes Pharaonique et Ptolémaïque, l'épingle à cheveux était un article à la mode faisant partie des coiffures les plus élaborées. Il s'agit de l'un des changements apportés dans la culture matérielle égyptienne par les Romains.
Einfache, aus Knochen geschnitzte Haarnadel. Anders als in der pharaonischen und der Ptolemäerzeit war die Haarnadel in der Römerzeit ein Modeartikel, der zu aufwendigen Frisuren getragen wurde, eine der vielen Veränderungen in der materiellen Kultur unter römischer Herrschaft.

Gancho de cabelo simples, feito em osso. No Período Romano, ao contrário dos períodos faraónico e Ptolemaico, o gancho era uma peça de vestuário a ser usada em penteados elaborados, uma das muitas mudanças na cultura material sob governo Romano.
Horquilla sencilla tallada en hueso. En el Período Romano, al contrario que en el faraónico y el ptolemaico, las horquillas estaban de moda como parte de los elaborados peinados, uno de los muchos cambios en la cultura material producidos durante el gobierno romano.
