Description
Roughly made squat globular pottery jar with rounded base, short narrower neck, flaring out to wide mouth. Under the rim are two holes at opposite sides of the vessel, to allow suspension or the attachment of a lid. The jar was found in a tomb of the early Middle Kingdom, about 1900 BC, at Beni Hassan in Middle Egypt.

Grof gemaakte plompe bolvormige aardewerken kruik met afgeronde basis, korte nauwere hals die uitloopt in de wijde mond. Onder de rand bevinden zich twee gaatjes aan weerszijden van de kruik om deze op te hangen of om een deksel mee te kunnen bevestigen. De kruik is gevonden in een graf uit het vroege Middenrijk, rond 1900 voor Christus, in Beni Hasan in Midden-Egypte.
Jarre globulaire, trapue, en terre cuite, grossièrement façonnée, à base arrondie, au col court et étroit qui s'évase vers une large ouverture. Sous le bord, figurent deux trous symétriques. Ils permettaient de suspendre la jarre ou d'y attacher un couvercle. Elle provient d'une tombe datée d'environ 1900 avant J.-C., au début du Moyen Empire, découverte à Beni Hassan, en Moyenne Égypte.
Grob gefertigter, gedrungener Tontopf mit Rundboden und kurzem, schmalerem Hals, der zu der weiten Mündung hin ausschwingt. Unterhalb des Randes sind an gegenüberliegenden Seiten des Gefäßes zwei Löcher angebracht, an denen man das Gefäß aufhängen oder einen Deckel befestigen konnte. Der Topf wurde in einem Grab des frühen Mittleren Reiches, etwa 1900 v. Chr., in Beni Hassan in Mittelägypten gefunden.
Tozzo vaso globulare in terracotta, rozzamente modellato, con la base rotonda, il collo corto e stretto, la bocca ampia che si allarga verso l'esterno. Al di sotto dell'orlo ci sono due fori sui lati opposti del vaso, per permettere di appendere la giara o di attaccarvici un coperchio. La giara è stata ritrovata in una tomba dell'inizio del Medio Regno, databile al 1900 a.C. circa, a Beni Hassan nel medio Egitto.
Jarra globular em lodo do Nilo, com base redonda, perfil convexo, pescoço curto e estreito, a alargar até à boca. Abaixo do rebordo tem dois orifícios em lados opostos, para permitir a suspensão ou para prender a uma tampa. Foi encontrada num túmulo de inícios do Império Médio, cerca de 1900 a.C., em Beni Hasan, no Egipto Médio.
Vaso achaparrado globular de cerámica burdamente realizado, con base redondeada, cuello corto y más estrecho, ensanchado hacia afuera hasta alcanzar la ancha boca. Debajo del borde hay dos agujeros en lados opuestos del recipiente para permitir que fuera colgado o atarle una tapa. El vaso fue encontrada en una tumba de comienzos del Imperio Medio, alrededor del 1900 a. C., en Beni Hassan en el Egipto Medio.
