IJzeren ringsleutel met ring en haaks op de ring gesoldeerd de kop en kleine rechthoekige tand. Zowel het werktuig als het materiaal typeren de verandering in Egypte onder Romeinse heerschappij in de eerste eeuwen van onze jaartelling. Deze sleutel is opgegraven in de grote provinciestad Oxyrhynchus, beroemd om de grote vondsten van papyri uit de Romeinse Periode.

Iron ring key, comprising ring and, soldered perpendicular to the thickness of the ring, the head and small rectangular tooth. Both tool and material typify the changes to Egypt under Roman rule, in the first centuries AD. This key was excavated at the large provincial town of Oxyrhynchus, famous for the vast finds of papyri of the Roman Period.

Clé en fer comprenant un anneau et, soudées perpendiculairement à l'épaisseur de l'anneau, une tête et une petite dent rectangulaire. Outil et matériau sont caractéristiques des changements survenus en Égypte sous la domination romaine, dans les premiers siècles de notre ère. Cette clé a été découverte dans la grande ville provinciale d'Oxyrhynchos, célèbre pour ces nombreux papyrus datant de la Période Romaine.

Eiserner Ringschlüssel mit Ring und senkrecht zum Ring angeschweißtem Kopf und einem kleinen rechteckigen Bart. Sowohl das Gerät als auch das Material sind typisch für die Veränderungen unter römischer Herrschaft, in den ersten Jahrhunderten nach Chr., in Ägypten. Dieser Schlüssel stammt aus der großen Provinzstadt Oxyrhynchos, die wegen der riesigen römerzeitlichen Papyrusfunde, die dort gemacht wurden, berühmt ist.

Chiave ad anello in ferro comprendente un anello e, saldati in modo perpendicolare allo spessore dell'anello, la testa ed il piccolo dente rettangolare. Sia il tipo di utensile che il materiale, indicano i cambiamenti avvenuti in Egitto durante il dominio romano, nei primi secoli a.C. Questa chiave è stata portata alla luce nella grande città provinciale di Oxyrhynchus, famosa per i numerosi ritrovamenti di papiri databili al Periodo Romano.

Tanto o objecto como o material tipificam as mudanças no Egipto sob governo romano, nos primeiros séculos d.C. Esta chave foi escavada na cidade provincial de Oxirrincos, famosa pela grande quantidade de papiros do Período Romano.
