The Global Egyptian Museum

This white marble jar is in the shape of the local god Osiris Canopus. The lid depicts the head of the Egyptian god Osiris. The body is in the shape of the canopic jars that contain the viscera of the deceased. The body of the jar is decorated with a high relief of Harpocrates and Isis.

The Osirian head is crowned with the Atef crown, the White Crown of Upper Egypt flanked by two plumes. The body of the jar is decorated with a high relief depicting a winged scarab carrying the sun disk between two crowned snakes. Above this are two falcons on a naos, or shrine. 

Two sides both depict a scene of the god Harpocrates carrying the Ankh sign of life, followed by the goddess Isis.

Cette jarre en marbre blanc est en forme du dieu Osiris-Canope. Le couvercle représente la tête du dieu égyptien Osiris alors que le corps ressemble aux vases canopes contenant les viscères du défunt. Le corps de cette jarre est décoré d'un haut-relief d'Harpocrate et d'Isis.

Osiris est coiffé de la couronne Atef. Il s'agit de la couronne blanche de la Haute Egypte flanquée de deux plumes. Le corps de cette jarre est décoré d'un haut-relief où l'on peut voir un scarabée ailé porter le disque solaire entre deux serpents couronnés. Au-dessus de ce haut-relief se trouvent deux faucons sur un naos, ou temple.

De part et d'autre, une scène représente le dieu Harpocrate portant le signe de vie Ankh; il est suivi de la déesse Isis.

تمثال من الرخام الأبيض لأوزوريس كانوب على شكل إناء، وهو إله محلي في مدينة كانوب؛ أي أبو قير شرق الاسكندرية، وقد اتخذ غطاء الإناء شكل رأس الإله أوزوريس المصري، وجسم الإناء يشبه الأواني الكانوبية التي كانت تضم أحشاء المتوفى، وبدن الإناء مزخرف بمنحوتات بارزة تصور حربوقراط وإيزيس.

الإناء يزينه تاج "آتف"، وهو التاج الأبيض الذى يرمز لمصر العليا، محاطاً بريشتين. بينما زين بدن الإناء برسم بارز يصور جعران مجنح يحمل قرص الشمس ويحيط به من الجانبين إثنان من الأفاعي. يعلو هذا المشهد صقران يقفان على ناووس.

ومن كلا جانبي المشهد صور المعبود حربوقراط حاملاً علامة الحياة "عنخ" ومتبوع بالمعبودة إيزيس.
