The gilded silver goblet is intact, but the gilding has worn away in various places. The vessel has a lightly molded rim, from which the sides taper to a plane base.

It is decorated with gilded figures of Cupids producing wine and Dionysos drinking the fruit of their labors. 

On one side, three Cupids pluck grapes from the vine while trampling the fallen fruit in a vat. The resulting liquid flows from a spout, which is now lost, into a mixing bowl held by two Cupids. 

On the opposite side, Dionysos, the god of wine, is leaning on his staff that he holds in the right hand. He holds a kantharos, a cup with two high handles, in his left hand. Before him stands a satyr serenading the god with double pipes, while two Cupids approach with more wine.

Cette coupe en argent doré est intacte; toutefois, une partie de la dorure a disparu à certains endroits. Précisons également que ce récipient a un bord légèrement moulé, à partir duquel les côtés s'effilent jusqu'à rejoindre une base aplatie.

Par ailleurs, elle est décorée d'une scène où plusieurs Cupidons produisent du vin et où le dieu Dionysos boit les fruits de leur labeur.

D'un côté, on peut voir trois Cupidons cueillir des grains de raisin et fouler les fruits dans une cuve. Le liquide s'écoule depuis un bec, qui fait défaut aujourd'hui, dans un bol tenu par deux autres Cupidons. 

De l'autre côté, Dionysos, le dieu du vin, s'appuie sur son bâton qu'il tient dans sa main droite. Il tient un canthare, ou calice à deux anses, dans la main gauche. Devant lui se tient un satyre jouant une sérénade avec un double pipeau alors que deux Cupidons apportent davantage de vin.

كأس سليم من الفضة ومذهب، وإن التذهيب قد تلاشى في مواضع كثيرة، وللكأس حافة لينة التشكيل حيث تضيق الجوانب حتى القاعدة المستوية. 

وقد زين بأشكال مذهبة لإله الحب كيوبيد وهو يعد النبيذ حيث يشرب ديونيسوس ثمار جهدهم. 

وعلى أحد الجوانب ثلاثة شخوص لكيوبيد يقتطفون من كرمة أعنابها، على حين يطأون الثمار الساقطة في قدر كبير، حيث يجرى السائل الناتج من صنبور، ضاع الآن، لمزجه في جرة بين أيدي كيوبيد. 

وعلى الجانب المقابل يتكئ ديونيسوس رب النبيذ على عصاه في يمينه وممسكاً كأساً بمقبضين عاليين "كنثاروس" في يساره، ومن أمامه يقف وحش "ساتير" يحتفي بالإله بالعزف على ناي مزدوج على حين يتقدم كيوبيدان بمزيد من النبيذ.
