The Global Egyptian Museum

The marble statue represents Euthenia, Greek goddess of nature and abundance, as the goddess of the Nile. 

Reclining on her left side, she is shown wearing the garment of Isis. Her arm rests on a crouching sphinx, the symbol of Egypt. She holds in her left hand a vessel for holy water and is surrounded by eight children, representing half the number of measuring units (cubits) of Nile flood height required for a bountiful harvest which is sixteen cubits.

The museum displays this statue together with the statue of the god of the Nile, "Nilus."

Cette statue en marbre représente Euthania, déesse grecque de la nature et de l'abondance, en tant que déesse du Nil. 

Etendue sur son côté gauche, elle porte la tenue d'Isis. Son bras repose sur un sphinx accroupi, symbole de l'Egypte. Dans sa main gauche, elle tient un récipient destiné à contenir l'eau bénite. Elle est entourée de huit enfants représentant la moitié du nombre d'unités de mesure (coudées) de la hauteur d'inondation du Nil demandé pour l'abondant de moisson ce qui est seize coudées.

Le musée expose cette statue d'Euthania aux côtés d'une statue du dieu du Nil, "Nilus".

يمثل التمثال الرخامي يوثنيا ربة الطبيعة والوفرة الإغريقية كهيئة ربة النيل. 

حيث ترى مائلة على جنبها الأيسر في زي إيزيس، وقد استقرت ذراعها على تمثال رابض لأبي الهول رمز مصر، وتمسك بيسراها إناء للماء المقدس وقد أحاط بها أطفال ثمانية يمثلون نصف مقياس أرتفاع النيل المطلوب لمحصول وفير، وهو ستة عشر ذراعا. 

ويعرض المتحف هذا التمثال مع تمثال إله النيل "نيلوس"
