The Global Egyptian Museum

The marvelous life-sized statue of the goddess Isis is sculpted in white marble. It shows Isis standing on a base, wearing a long gown with a cloak on top and a sash tied on her chest. Her hair is arranged in the Libyan style. 

She wears on her head the crown of Hathor, a combination of the sun disk, two cow horns, and two feathers. Her left foot is placed on a crocodile. She carries in one hand her favorite vessel for the sacred water of the Nile. 

A snake is shown curled around the other hand, which was found separated from the statue.

De taille normale, cette superbe statue de la déesse Isis est sculptée dans du marbre blanc. Elle montre Isis debout sur une base, vêtue d'une longue robe avec une cape et une écharpe sur la poitrine. 

Ses cheveux sont arrangés d'après le style libyen. Elle est coiffée de la couronne d'Hathor, union entre le disque solaire, deux cornes de vache et deux plumes. Son pied gauche est posé sur un crocodile. 

Dans une main, elle tient un récipient servant à contenir l'eau sacrée du Nil. On peut également voir un serpent enroulé autour de son autre main. Lorsqu'elle fut retrouvée, cette dernière n'était pas avec la statue.

تمثال رائع للإلهة إيزيس بالحجم الطبيعي من الرخام الأبيض، يظهرها واقفة وهي ترتدي ثوباً طويلاً بعباءة وقد ربط وشاح حول صدرها، وشعرها قد اتخذ شكل تسريحة ليبية، وتضع فوق رأسها تاج حتحور الذي يجمع بين قرص الشمس وقرني بقرة وريشتين.

وتطأ بقدمها اليسرى تمساحاً، وتحمل بإحدى يديها وعاءها المفضل الخاص بمياه النيل المقدسة. بينما يلتف ثعبان حول اليد الأخرى التي وجدت منفصلة عن التمثال.
