Description
Two finely carved arms were customarily designed separately and later attached to the body of the statue. The softness of the hands' lines and the elegant bracelets around the wrists indicate that the arms originally belonged to a female statue, probably a goddess or a princess. The straightness of the lines also suggests that they were held at the sides of the statue.
