The Global Egyptian Museum

The tambourine is decorated with musical scenes. Isis is shown seated comfortably on a seat with a cushion; a musician is playing the tambourine. The border is pierced to insert thongs that would attach the skin to the instrument. 

Underneath the portrayal of the goddess there is an engraved inscripti on: "Isis the Mistress of the Sky."

Ce tambourin est orné de scènes musicales. Isis est représenté confortablement assise sur un siège avec un coussin. Un musicien joue du tambourin. Le bord est percé pour insérer des lanières qui permettraient de fixer la peau sur l'instrument. 

Sous la représentation de la déesse, on lit une inscription gravée : "Isis, la maîtresse des cieux."

يزين إطار الدف هذا مناظر موسيقية، فنرى إيزيس تجلس فى راحة على كرسى عليه وسادة، بينما يدق موسيقى على دف. والحافة مثقوبة لإدخال سير من الجلد يستخدم فى ربط الجلد فى الآلة. 

وأسفل إيزيس نقش نص يقول إيزيس ربة السماء.
