Description
This disk has one flat side and one slightly convex side. The convex side is decorated with geometric patterns in black, white, and brown. Other decorated spinning disks like this one were found in an open wooden box in Hemaka's tomb. They were apparently intended for use as small spinning tops. A stick was inserted in the hole through the center of the disk. When the disk is turned, wonderful designs can be seen.

Ce disque est plat d'un côté et légèrement convexe de l'autre. Le côté convexe est orné de motifs géométriques noirs, blancs et bruns. D'autres disques décorés comme celui-ci ont été trouvés dans une boîte en bois ouverte dans la tombe de Hemaka. Apparemment, ils étaient utilisés comme petites toupies. Un bâton était inséré dans l'orifice à travers le centre du disque. Lorsque l'on tourne le disque, on peut voir de magnifiques motifs.
لهذا القرص وجه مستوى، وآخر محدب مزين برسومات وخطوط هندسية ملونة بالأبيض والأسود والبنى. ولقد عثر على أقراص مشابهة فى صندوق مفتوح فى مقبرة حما-كا، وربما كان الغرض منها أن تستعمل كنحلة دوارة أو رؤوس مغازل. وقد زود القرص بثقب فى منتصفه، وضع فيه عصا، بحيث إذا أدير القرص حول محوره بسرعة نرى رسومات وتكوينات بديعة رائعة.
