Description
The aegis is a pectoral decorated with the heads of gods. This example is decorated with the head of the goddess Anukis wearing her feathered crown. Her hands are shown in front of the pectoral. Depicted behind the left shoulder of the goddess is the royal cobra surmounted by a sun disk. The face of Anukis, the distributor goddess of cool water, is very well sculpted and shows her beauty. The eyes and eyebrows were most probably inlaid with another material.

L'égide est un pectoral orné de têtes de dieux. Celle-ci est ornée de la tête de la déesse Anukis portant sa couronne de plumes. Ses mains sont représentées en face du pectoral. Derrière l'épaule gauche de la déesse on voit le cobra royal surmonté d'un disque solaire. Le visage d'Anukis, la déesse distribuant l'eau fraîche, est très bien sculpté et montre sa beauté. Ses yeux et ses sourcils étaient sans doute incrustés d'un autre matériau.
الصدرية هى عبارة عن درع صدري مزين برءوس الأرباب ، وهذا الدرع الصدري مزين برأس المعبودة "عنقت" مرتدية تاجها ذو الريش؛ وتظهر يداها أمام الصدرية. وصور الأفعى الملكي تحت قرص الشمس؛ خلف الكتف الشمالي للمعبودة أنوكيس. ونحت وجه عنقت، المعبودة التي توفر الماء البارد، على نحو متقن جدا؛ يبرز جمالها. ومن المرجح أن العينين والحاجبين كانت جميعا مطعمة بمواد مختلفة.
