Description
This vase of Mesehti, Mayor of Asiut, stands on a wooden base and is tall and slender, with a relatively wide rim. It was made of a single sheet of copper. There are no traces of soldering. The surface of the vase is well polished with no writing. This vase is an example of a Hes vase, which was used in libation, or liquid offering, ceremonies and for other ritual purposes.

Ce vase de Mesehti haut et mince avec un bord relativement large est posé sur une base en bois. Il a été façonné dans une seule feuille de cuivre. Il n'y a aucune trace de soudure. La surface du vase est bien polie et ne porte aucune inscriptions. Ce vase est un exemple de vase Hés qui était utilisé pour les cérémonies de libation, ou d'offrandes de liquides, et pour d'autres événements rituels.
إناء لمسحتي صنع من صفيحة نحاسية واحدة،؛ ولا توجد آثار للحام. وصقل سطحه جيدا، وهو خال من الكتابة. وهو مثال جيد لإناء "حس" الذى يستخدم في سكب الماء المقدس في المراسم أو غير ذلك من الشعائر والطقوس.
