The Global Egyptian Museum

The model boat has a large canopy and a deck at the stern. The bow has now split open due to the wood drying out. The wooden frame of the canopy extends along the sides of the boat. 

Miniatures of actual boats that sailed on the Nile, through the Delta marshes, or along the canals, were placed in the tomb for travel in the afterlife.

Ce bateau miniature a une grande voilure et un pont à l'arrière. La proue est maintenant fendue car le bois s'est asséché. Le cadre en bois de la voilure s'étend le long des côtés du bateau. 

Des représentations miniatures de bateaux réels qui voguaient sur le Nil, sur les marais du Delta ou le long des canaux, avaient été placés dans la tombe pour le voyage dans l'au-delà.

نموذج لقارب شراعي بمظلة كبيرة وظهر عند مؤخرته. ومقدمة القارب هي الآن مشروخة بسبب جفاف الخشب. ويمتد إطار المظلة على جانبي القارب. 

وكانت نماذج خشبية للقوارب الحقيقية التي تبحر في النيل ومستنقعات الدلتا توضع في المقابر للسفر في العالم الآخر.
