Description
Although this piece of furniture, which came from the antechamber, is only 36.5 centimeters high, it might be categorized as a royal seat. It was placed under the first ritual bed. The seat with its low back is described in the excavation report as a wooden support in which grooves have been executed on the back and on the seat. This indicates that it might have been a chair that belonged to Tutankhamun as a child.
