The Global Egyptian Museum

This goblet is thought to form a pair with the gold flask discovered next to it. It probably served to collect water poured over the hands of the king. 

The handle of the goblet is composed of a stem of three wires. At the base, the wires end in a small palm tree and at the spout of the vessel they form an elegant openwork lotus flower. 

Two cartouches of King Psusennes the First are inscribed on the body of the goblet.

On pense que cette coupe allait de pair avec la fiole en or retrouvée à ses côtés. Elle servait probablement à récupérer l'eau versée sur les mains du roi. 

L'anse de cette coupe est en réalité une tige composée de trois fils. A la base du récipient, les fils se terminent par un petit palmier tandis qu'au niveau du bec, ils forment une magnifique fleur de lotus ajourée. 

Deux cartouches du roi Psoussenès Premier furent également gravés sur le corps de cette coupe.

من المعتقد أن هذا القدح كان يشكل زوجاً مع القنينة المكتشفة إلى جواره. وربما كان يستخدم لسكب الماء على يدى الملك. 

وقد صممت يده على هيئة ساق من ثلاثة أسلاك من الذهب تنتهي عند القاعدة في شكل نخلة صغيرة بينما تكون عند الميزاب شكل زهرة لوتس جميلة مفرغة. 

وقد نقش على بدن هذا القدح خرطوشي الملك بسوسنس الأول.
