Description
Compared with other stools that were found in the tomb of Tutankhamun, this one is remarkable. Because of its size, this stool appears to have been made for a child. It is of ordinary rush-work covered with plain linen and enriched with many complicated and brilliant colors. It is decorated with two bounding lions and the sign of Unification of the Two Lands.

Comparé aux autres tabourets retrouvés dans la tombe de Toutânkhamon, celui-ci est vraiment remarquable. En effet, en raison de sa taille, il semble avoir été fabriqué pour un enfant. En réalité, il est fait de joncs ordinaires recouverts de lin uni et décoré de plusieurs couleurs vives et complexes. De plus, il est orné de deux lions bondissants et du "Sema-Taouy", ou symbole d'unification des deux terres.
بمقارنة هذا الكرسي بغيره من الكراسي المكتشفة في مقبرة توت-عنخ-آمون نشعر بتميزه. ونظراً لحجمه الصغير، فمن المعتقد أنه صمم خصيصاً لطفل. وقد صنع من نبات السمار العادي المغطى بالكتان السادة والمزخرف بالعديد من الألوان المتداخلة والبراقة. كما يزين الكرسي أسدان مربوطان وعلامة وحدة الأرضين.
