Description
The god Amun is portrayed seated on his throne. He is wearing the traditional crown consisting of two feathers with the sun disk between them. His left hand is placed flat on his thigh while his right hand is holding the sign of life, the Ankh. He wears the royal Shendyt kilt. This statue was once gilded; the facial features are well sculpted, especially the eyes and eyebrows, which were probably inlaid with semiprecious stones.
