Description
This statue of King Senowsret the First is attached to a pillar on which the hieroglyphics lists the names and titles of the king. The king is depicted wrapped like Osiris in the form of a mummy. He holds the Ankh signs of life in each hand. They are carved in high relief. He wears the White Crown, in which the uraeus, or royal cobra is fixed. The oval face of the king shows his caracteristic features: large eyes, thick eyebrows, a wide nose, and a large mouth with fleshy lips.

Cette statue du roi Sénousert Premier est fixée sur un pilier sur lequel des hiéroglyphes indiquent les noms et les titres du roi. Le roi est représenté enveloppé comme Osiris sous la forme d'une momie. Il tient les signes Ankh de la vie dans chaque main. Ils sont gravés en haut-relief. Il porte la couronne blanche dans lequel l'uraeus, ou cobra royal, est fixé. Le visage ovale du roi montre ses traits caractéristiques: de grands yeux, des sourcils épais, un large nez et une grande bouche aux lèvres charnues.
تمثال يصور الملك سنوسرت الأول مستنداً إلى عمود، نقش عليه نص هيروغليفى يعدد اسماء وألقاب الملك. وقد صور الملك ملفوفاً مثل أوزوريس على هيئة مومياء وممسكا فى كلتا يديه بعلامة عنخ المنحوتة بشكل بارز. ويرتدى الملك التاج الأبيض مثبتاً به الصل المقدس أو الكوبرا الملكية. ويعبر وجه الملك البيضاوي عن ملامحه المميزة : العيون الواسعة والحواجب الكثيفة الى جانب الأنف العريض والفم الكبير ذو الشفاة الممتلئة.
