Description
This standing statue of the lioness goddess Sekhmet depicts her with her left leg forward. She wears the Double Crown, called the Peshent, representing Upper and Lower Egypt, decorated with the royal cobra. Her right forearm is bent on her stomach. She wears the royal kilt. This is considered to be a rare statue of the goddess Sekhmet because it shows her wearing the Double Crown instead of the sun disk.
