The Global Egyptian Museum

This large model shows a courtyard where the inspection of cattle took place. Meketre, his son, and four scribes sit under a columned canopy with scribes and guards standing nearby. 

Cattle are driven before them by several farmers and herdsmen in order to be counted for inspection purposes. 

All men are wearing short kilts and the farmers who drive the cattle are wearing long wigs and holding sticks.

Cette grande représentation montre une cour où se déroule l'inspection du bétail. Meketrê, son fils et quatre scribes sont assis sous un baldaquin tandis que d'autres scribes et des gardiens se tiennent à proximité. 

Le bétail leur est présenté par plusieurs fermiers et gardiens de troupeaux pour être compté. 

Tous les hommes portent des pagnes courts et les fermiers chargés de conduire le bétail portent une perruque longue et tiennent des bâtons.

واحد من عدة نماذج عثر عليها في قبر مكت رع بطيبة، وهو نموذج ضخم، يصور ساحة كان يجرى فيها تفقد الماشية، إذ يجلس الشريف وابنه وأربعة من كتابه، تحت مظلة ذات أعمدة، والعمال والحراس قائمون بالقرب منهم. 

وكانت الماشية تساق أمام مجموعة من الفلاحين والرعاة لإحصائها وتفقدها. 

وقد ارتدى الرجال كافة النقبة القصيرة، واتخذ الفلاحون ممن يسوقون الماشية شعراً مستعاراً طويلاً، وكان كل منهم ممسكاً بعصا
