Description
This limestone stela was dedicated by King Ahmose the First, who expelled the Hyksos from Egypt, to his grandmother Queen Tetishery. The top of this monument is decorated with a scene showing the king making offerings to the queen, who is seated on her throne. The lower part of the stela is occupied by a hieroglyphic text that is a dialog between Ahmose and his sister and wife, Ahmes-Nefertari. They are discussing what they have done for their ancestors, especially their grandmother Tetishery and their mother Queen Ahhotep. He expresses his wish to build a great mortuary temple at Abydos for his grandmother Tetishery. According to his words, this will be a great temple, the likeness of which has never been built before.

Le roi Ahmes Premier dédia cette stèle de calcaire à sa grand-mère, la reine Tetichery. Ahmes Premier fut le roi qui chassa les Hyksos d'Egypte. La partie supérieure de ce monument est décorée d'une scène dans laquelle on peut voir le roi faire des offrandes à la reine assise sur le trône. La partie inférieure de la stèle est occupée par un texte hiéroglyphique. Ce dernier est un dialogue entre Ahmes et sa sœur et épouse, Ahmes-Nefertari. Ils parlent de ce qu'ils ont fait pour leurs ancêtres, en particulier pour leur grand-mère Tetichery et leur mère Ahhotep. Ahmes Premier exprime son désir de faire construire un grand temple funéraire à Abydos en hommage à sa grand-mère Tetichery. Selon ses propres paroles, ce temple sera grandiose, comme jamais aucun ne fut construit auparavant.
لوح من الحجر الجيري، كان قد كرسه الملك أحمس الأول، قاهر الهكسوس وطاردهم من مصر، لجدته الملكة تتي شري. وقد زينت قمة هذا الأثر، بمنظر يبين الملك مؤديا القربان للملكة التي تجلس على عرشها. أما الجزء الأسفل من اللوح، فيستغرقه نص هيروغليفي حواري بين أحمس وأخته التي هي زوجته، والمسماة أحمس نفرتاري، إذ يتحدثان فيما صنعا لأجدادهما وخاصة جدته وأمه، وعن أنه يود بناء معبد جنزي هائل في أبيدوس من أجل جدته تتي شري، بحيث يكون هذا المعبد، كما قال معبدا عظيما لم يبن مثله من قبل.
