Faience amulet depicting a crocodile with raised head, the suspension hole beneath the head. Funerary amulets such as these presumably invoked the crocodile-god Sobek to ward off any harmful influence.

Faience amulet dat een krokodil met opgeheven kop weergeeft, met ophanggaatje onder het hoofd. Funeraire amuletten zoals deze riepen waarschijnlijk de krokodillengod Sobek op om elke schadelijke invloed af te weren.
Amulette en faïence représentant un crocodile à la tête dressée. Le trou de suspension se trouve sous la tête. Des amulettes funéraires de ce genre, comme vraisemblablement celles qui évoquent le dieu-crocodile Sobek, servaient à écarter toute influence néfaste.
Fayenceamulett, das ein Krokodil mit erhobenem Kopf darstellt; das Aufhängeloch befindet sich unterhalb des Kopfes. Grabamulette wie dieses beschwörten vermutlich den Krokodilgott Sobek, alle schädlichen Einflüsse abzuwenden.
