Description
The statue depicts Osiris, the Lord of Eternity, counterpart and spouse of Isis. He is portrayed in his typical form as a mummified god enveloped in a close-fitting garment and seated on a throne. His Atef crown, flanked by two ostrich feathers, is adorned with the uraeus, or royal cobra. Below his smooth shaven face, the divine beard is attached to his chin. In his hands he holds the insignia of supreme power, the "Heka" crook and "Nekhekh" flail scepter.

Cette statue représente Osiris, Seigneur de l'éternité, homologue et époux d'Isis. Il est représenté sous sa forme typique, en dieu momifié enveloppé dans un vêtement ajusté et assis sur un trône. Sa couronne Atef, entourée de deux plumes d'autruche est ornée de l'uraeus, ou cobra royal. Sous ce visage doux et rasé, la barbe divine est fixée sur son menton. Il tient entre les mains les insignes du pouvoir suprême, le sceptre "Nekhekhw" et la crosse "Hka".
يصور هذا التمثال أوزوريس، رب الأبدية، زوج إيزيس. وهو يظهر جالساً على العرش فى صورته النموذجية كمومياء ملفوفة فى رداء ضيق وحابك. ويحيط بتاج الآتف الذى يلبسه على رأسه ريشتا النعامة، كما يزينه الصل المقدس أو الكوبرا الملكية. وأسفل وجهه الأملس الحليق، يضع أوزوريس اللحية المستعارة على ذقنه. ويمسك فى يديه علامات الحقا رمز الحاكم وهى الخطاف ونخخو المذبة رمز العزة والسلطان.
