Description
This statue represents the goddess Maat with her arms held close to her body. She wears a large necklace and a headdress. In the center of her 22-uraeus crown stands an ostrich feather, an emblem of the goddess that symbolizes truth and justice. The goddess is portrayed with a voluptuous body, which demonstrates the Greek influence beginning in the Late Period due to trading activities.

Cette statue montre la déesse Maât les bras serrés contre son corps. Elle porte un large collier et une coiffe. Au centre de sa couronne composé de vingt-deux uræus se trouve une plume d'autruche. Cette dernière était le symbole de la vérité et de la justice. La déesse est représentée de manière voluptueuse ce qui témoigne de l'influence de l'art grec au début de la Basse Epoque et ce, en raison des diverses activités commerciales.
يمثل هذا التمثال الربة ماعت واقفة الوقفة التقليدية وقد أنزلت ذراعيها بجوار جسدها، وترتدى قلادة كبيرة و غطاء رأس، كما تضع على رأسها تاج مكون من إثنى وعشرين صلاً مقدساً. وفى وسط هذا التاج تنتصب ريشة نعامة، رمز الربة، والتى تمثل الحق والعدالة. ونُصور ماعت فى صورة حسية مما يبرز التأثير اليونانى الذى بدأ يظهر منذ العصر المتأخر نتيجة للنشاط التجارى.
