الوصف

يُصَوَّرُ هذا الملك المشهور هنا بين رايتين حَيْث كتبت أسماؤه والقابه. ويرتدى مرنبتاح باروكة متجعّدة قصيرة تزينها الكوبرا الملكيّة، ويعلو الباروكة تاج الآتف الخاص باوزوريس. 

يعرض التمثال ميزات الملك الوجهيّة في الصغر مع وجه مليئ؛ تُبْرَزُ عضلاته معبرة عن قوّته. ويَلْبَسُ الملك نقبة ذات لسان متوسط مزين برأس أسد وصف من حيات الكوبرا يعلو كل منها قرص الشمس.

This famous king is portrayed between two gates where his names and titles are written. 

He is wearing a short curly wig topped with the uraeus, or royal cobra, and the Atef crown of Osiris. 

The king's facial features show him at a young age with a full face; his muscles are accentuated to show his strength. 

He is wearing a kilt with a central flap decorated with a lion's head and a richly ornamented band of uraei surmounted by sun disks

Ce célèbre roi est représenté entre deux portes où ses noms et ses titres furent écrits. Il est coiffé d'une courte perruque bouclée surmontée de l'uræus, ou cobra royal, et de la couronne Atef du dieu Osiris. 

Les traits de son visage rond révèlent son jeune âge. Ses muscles sont accentués afin de montrer sa force. Il porte un pagne muni d'un pont central orné de têtes de lion ainsi qu'un anneau composé d'uræus surmontés de disques solaires.
