The Global Egyptian Museum

This is one of the finest of the many pectorals found in the king's tomb. It has a large lapis lazuli scarab in the center, flanked by two uraei, or royal cobras. 

The scarab, standing on a solar boat, is pushing a carnelian disk which represents the rising sun and is flanked by symbols of stability, long life, and beauty. 

An elaborate chain consists of uraei and scarabs on Heb, or festival, signs.

Il s'agit de l'un des plus beaux pectoraux retrouvés dans la tombe du roi. L'élément décoratif central est un grand scarabée en lapis-lazuli entouré de deux uræus, ou cobras royaux. 

Placé sur un bateau solaire, le scarabée pousse un disque en cornaline qui représente le soleil levant ; de plus, il est entouré des symboles de stabilité, de beauté et de longue vie. 

Une chaîne complexe comprend plusieurs uræus et scarabées placés sur les signes du Heb, ou fête.

تعد هذه الصدرية أدق ما صنع من طرازها في مصر القديمة وأجمل ما عثر عليه فى مقبرة الملك. حيث العنصر الأساسي في زخرفتها جعران كبير من لازورد، يكتنفه ثعباني كوبرا. 

الجعران تم وضعه فى مركب الشمس، وهو يدحرج قرص من العقيق يرمز لشروق الشمس ويحيط به علامات ترمز إلى الثبات والحياة المديدة والجمال. 

أما السلسلة فتتألق مع ثعابين الكوبرا والجعارين من فوق علامة حب أو الإحتفال.
