Description
The painted wooden model portrays a seated servant grilling a whole goose over a charcoal fire. The goose is fixed to the stick that the man holds in his left hand. The man holds a fan in his right hand to keep the coals in the pottery dish glowing. The statuette is realistically modeled, especially in the detailed way in which it depicts a servant at work.

Cette miniature en bois peint représente un domestique assis en train de faire griller une oie entière sur un feu de charbon de bois. L'oie est fixée au bâton que l'homme tient dans sa main gauche. L'homme tient un éventail dans sa main droite pour que les charbons dans le plat en poterie restent actifs. Cette statuette est modelée de façon réaliste, spécialement dans sa façon détaillée de représenter un domestique au travail.
نموذج خشبي ملون يصور رجلا في وضع الجلوس يشوي إوزة فوق فحم ملتهب. والإوزة مثبتة في عصا يمسك بها الرجل في يده اليسرى؛ بينما يمسك بمروحة في يده اليمنى يهوي بها على الفحم لكي يبقي عليه متوهجا - داخل طبق فخاري. وشكل التمثال الصغير بواقعية؛ خاصة فيما يتعلق بالتفاصيل التي أظهرت الخادم منكباً على عمله.
