A small block in the form of a naos contains a seated figure of the god Amun-Re, modeled almost as a sculpture in the round. The god wears his characteristic crown with the tall plumes and a long sacred beard. 

The upper lintel of the naos bears a double scene, back to back, of King Amenhotep the third, wearing the Khepresh Blue Crown of ceremonies, offering and praying to Amun-Re. The vertical texts on both edges are a dedicatory text of King Amenhotep: "the good god, lord of the Two Lands, Neb-Maat-Ra, son of Re, Amenhotep, ruler of Thebes, beloved of Amun-Re, lord of the thrones of the two lands." 

During the time of King Ramesses the second, nearly 140 years after the naos was placed in Karnak by King Amenhotep, the "Hereditary Prince, Overseer of the priests of all gods and the chief priest of Amun-Re (named Bak-en-Khonsu)," ordered his name and titles to be incised at the sides of the naos, in order to participate in the offerings presented to Amun-Re and at the same time to show his respect to the original dedicator.

Un petit bloc en forme de naos contenant une figure assise du dieu Amon-Rê, moulé comme une sculpture arrondie. Le dieu porte sa couronne caractéristique à longues plumes et une longue barbe sacrée. 

Le linteau supérieur du naos comporte une double scène, dos à dos, du roi Amenhotep Trois, portant le Khepresh, la couronne bleue des cérémonies, donnant des offrandes et priant à Amon-Rê. Les textes verticaux sur les deux bords sont des texte dédicatoires du roi Amenhotep : "le bon dieu, seigneur des deux terres, Neb-Maat-Rê, fils de Rê, Amenhotep, souverain de Thèbes, bien-aimé de Amon-Rê, seigneur des trônes des deux terres." 

Durant l'époque du roi Ramsès Deux, presque 140 années après que le naos ait été placé à Karnak par le roi Amenhotep, "le prince héréditaire, surveillant des prêtres de tous les dieux et chef prêtre de Amon-Rê (surnommé Bak-en-Khonsu)" ordonna que son nom et ses titres soient incisés sur les cotés du naos afin de participer aux offrandes présentées à Amon-Rê et de montrer aussi son respect au dédicataire originel.

كتلة صغيرة في شكل ناووس تضم تمثالا جالسا للإله آمون-رع؛ وقد شكلت على نحو يقارب نحتا مجسما. ويرتدي الإله تاجه المميز بالريشتين الطويلتين، ويضع اللحية الطويلة المقدسة. 

وتحمل العتبة العليا للناووس مشهدا مزدوجا، ظهرا لظهر، للملك أمنحتب الثالث؛ مرتديا تاج "خبرش" الأزرق المخصص للاحتفالات، وهو يقدم القرابين ويتضرع إلى الإله آمون-رع. والنصان الرأسيان على الحافتين مكرسان للملك أمنحتب: "الإله الطيب، رب الأرضين، نب-ماعت-رع، ابن رع، أمنحتب، حاكم طيبة، حبيب آمون-رع، رب العرشين للأرضين". 

وخلال عهد الملك رمسيس الثاني، أي بعد حوالي 140 عاما من وضع الملك أمنحتب للناووس في الكرنك، أمر "باك-إن-خونسو" الأمير الوريث، المشرف على كهنة كافة الآلهة ورئيس كهنة آمون رع، بأن يحفر اسمه وتحفر ألقابه على جانب الناووس؛ لكي يشارك في القرابين المقدمة إلى آمون-رع، وليظهر في ذات الوقت احترامه للمكرس (صاحب الإهداء) الأصلي.
