Description
Horus the child, known as Harpocrates, of the Greco-Roman period is shown squatting on a small base. His right leg is bent under his body, while his left is erect in front of his chest. He is naked, with the child lock on the right of his head. His right arm is beside his body and he is holding a rounded staff in his hand; the left arm is broken. The child's body is painted in brown and cream, and the eyes and eyebrows are highlighted in black

Horus l'enfant, ou plus communément appelé Harpocrate, de la période gréco-romaine, est représenté accroupi sur une base. Sa jambe droite est pliée sous son corps tandis que sa jambe gauche est bien droite devant son buste. Il est représenté nu, une mèche recouvrant le coté droit de sa tête. Son bras droit est le long de son corps et il tient un bâton arrondi dans sa main ; le bras gauche est cassé. Le corps de l'enfant est peint en marron et beige tandis que les yeux et les sourcils sont determinés en noir
عرف حورس الطفل خلال العصر اليوناني الروماني باسم "حربوقراط"، ويصوره التمثال جالسا في وضع القرفصاء؛ على قاعدة صغيرة. وانثنت الرجل اليمنى تحت جسده، بينما انتصبت اليسرى أمام صدره. وصور عاريا بخصلة شعر طفل على الجانب الأيمن من رأسه. ويتدلى ذراعه الأيمن إلى جانبه، ويمسك بصولجان مبروم في يده؛ والذراع الأيسر مكسور. وقد طلي جسد الطفل باللونين البني والأصفر الشاحب (كريم)، وأبرزت العينان والحاجبان باللون الأسود
