Description
A pottery lagynos, which is decorated with geometrical lines that encircle the bowl, it is provided with a spout to pour the liquid. It has a notched, fairly high body with two handles. It is supported on a moderately high circular base. This sort of jug is considered to be one of the containers that were sealed, such as jars, amphorae and oinochoi, which were used to preserve liquids and were all related to table service all through the Hellenistic period.

Une poterie lagynos, ornée de lignes géométriques encerclant le bol. Elle est pourvue d'un bec afin de verser le liquide. Elle possède un corps encoché assez haut à deux poignées et elle est maintenue sur une base circulaire assez haute. Ce genre de poterie fait partie des récipients cachetés tels que les récipients, les amphores et les oinochoi, utilisés pour conserver les liquides et tous faisant partie des services de table pendant la période Hellénistique.
إناء فخارى من طراز لاجينوى، مزخرف بخطوط هندسية دائرية حول البدن. الإناء مزود بميزاب لزيادة التحكم فى المادة السائلة. البدن منبعج قليل الإرتفاع، عليه مقبض متصل من الناحيتين اليمنى واليسرى. ويستند البدن على قاعدة حلقية مرتفعة قليلاً. ويعتبر هذا الإناء من الأشكال المغلقة ومنها الجرار والأمفورات والأينوخوى، وهى أواني خاصة بحفظ وصب السوائل، وهى أوانى مرتبطة بالمائدة خلال العصر الهلينستى.
