The Global Egyptian Museum

A small jar that has a high cylindrical neck, a moderately high round body and a single handle. Both sides of the body are decorated with geometrical motifs consisting of arrowheads formed by dots, the arrowheads are directed both upwards and downwards. 

It was part of the table service and was used to serve liquids. Such jars were commonly used all through the Hellenistic period, and many were produced in local ateliers.

Un petit récipient à haut cou cylindrique et corps arrondi légèrement élevé. On note une unique poignée. Les deux côtés du corps sont ornés de motifs géométriques qui consistent en des pointes de flèches formées par des points. Les pointes sont dirigées vers le haut et vers le bas.

Il faisait partie d'un service de table, utilisé pour servir des liquides. De tels récipients étaient largement répandus pendant la période Hellénistique. Bon nombre étaient produits dans des ateliers locaux.

إناء صغير ذو رقبة إسطوانية مرتفعة وبدن كروى قليل الإرتفاع. للإناء مقبض واحد للحمل. ويوجد على جانبى البدن زخارف هندسية عبارة عن نقاط تأخذ شكل رؤوس السهام تتجه إلى أعلى وإلى أسفل. 

كان هذا الإناء ضمن أوانى المائدة الخاصة بحفظ وصب السوائل. وقد إستخدمت تلك الأوانى بكثرة طوال العصر الهلينستى، كما أنتجتها الإتيليهات المحلية بكثرة.
