Description
The statuette represents Osiris as a deity associated with the Moon-god Iah, which engenders a composite iconography. Osiris-Iah is sitting, his feet resting on a rectangular base. He wears a short kilt, a tripartite wig with an uraeus on the forehead crowned with a Moon-disk and a crescent bearing an atef-crown with horns; his chin is decorated with a pleated artificial beard. The whites of the eyes are inlaid with gold. In his hands he had originally held some attributes, now missing. A line of hieroglyphic inscription is placed on the front and proper right sides of the base. There is a tenon below the base.
