Situated to the south of the pyramid complex of Djoser at Saqqara. The pyramid, with a base that measures 'c. '58 x 58 m, was once 43 metres high and contains a granite sarcophagus. It is the oldest royal tomb in which the so-called Pyramid Texts have been found.
