A bronze statuette of Osiris, one of the most popular deities of the Egyptian pantheon, worshipped through all the country. He formed a triad together with Isis and Horus, and he became the god of the dead after his assassination by Seth and his resurrection following it. He is portrait in this statue in his most common appearance: mummiform, with a false beard, covered with a tight robe, wearing the atef crown on his head and holding the scepter and flagellum in his hands.
