Crocodile modelled in the shape of the arc of a circle, its legs reduced to stumps and the eyes represented by two blobs. The scales are indicated by an incised criss-cross pattern. The manufacture and decoration appear unsophisticated but required a higher level of ability than is immediately apparent.
