Description
Necklace, 72 cm long, composed of disc-shaped beads made from fine white shell. The diametre of these beads varies from 8 to 10 mm and the thickness from 1 to 2 mm. Although the size of the beads varies greatly, the hole allowing for the beads to be strung together is, very nicely centred on each bead. This necklace must have been placed around the neck of the deceased.

Collier de 72 cm de long en perles discoïdales, fines en coquillage blanc. Le diamètre de ces perles varie de 8 à 10 mm et l'épaisseur de 1 à 2 mm. Si la dimension des perles est très variable, le trou permettant le passage du fil est, lui, très bien centré pour toutes les perles. Ce collier devait prendre place autour du cou du défunt.
