Description
Well defined scarab with head, eyes, clypeus, prothorax and elytra indicated by a double line. The legs are jagged. A nefer sign ("beautiful, good, perfect") surrounded by round spirals decorated with flowers is depicted on the reverse. This motif, once called Hyksos, was widespread from the 12th Dynasty onwards and during the whole of the Second Intermediate Period.

Le plat porte un signe nefer ("beau, bon, parfait") entouré de spirales rondes agrémentées de fleur. Ce motif, autrefois appelé Hyksôs, est répandu dès la XIIème Dynastie et pendant toute la Deuxième Période Intermédaire
