Description

Asymmetrical jar stand of which the lower lip ends in a triangular bead and the upper one is simply tapered and flared. A white slip decorates both lips, inside and outside. This jar stand was placed in a burial, at the feet of the deceased, and supported two cups.

Support de vase asymétrique, la lèvre inférieure étant terminée par un bourrelet triangulaire, la lèvre supérieure simplement évasée et affinée. Un enduit blanc décore ces deux lèvres, à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Ce support était placé dans une sépulture, aux pieds du défunt, et supportait deux coupes.
