Description

Large circular dish with a flat base and simple lip. The carefully polished interior surface was covered with a pale red-brown colour on to which a dark red geometrical pattern was painted. This consists of a central circular motif with radiating wavy lines. The exterior surface bears a dark red slip.

Grand plat circulaire à base plate et lèvre simple dont la face intérieure, soigneusement polie, a été couverte d'un colorant rouge-brun pâle sur lequel est appliqué un décor géométrique rouge sombre, constitué d'un motif circulaire central d'où rayonnent des lignes ondées. La face externe porte une couverte rouge sombre.
