Description
Found in a robbed Middle Kerma burial, this amulet has all the characteristics typical of a Egyptian manufacture and confirms contacts and exchanges between the two states. Although very crude, the features of a seated baboon, one of the representations of the god Thoth, are clearly identifiable.

Trouvée dans une sépulture du Kerma Moyen pillée, cette amulette a toutes les apparences d'une production égyptienne et témoigne des contacts et échanges entre les deux états. Bien qu'assez frustres, les traits d'un babouin assis sont nettement reconnaissables, une des formes du dieu Thot.
