Description

Cooking pot with a spherical body and a relatively tall neck with a slightly concave profile. There is an everted lip with a groove at the extremity and ther e are two small twisted handles on the neck and shoulder.

Marmite à la panse sphérique, col assez haut de profil légèrement concave. Lèvre évasée marquée à son extrémité par une rainure. Deux petites anses en turban torsadé appliquées sur le col et l'épaule.

Fouilles du Fayoum.  

Material: 
Pâte de type alluvial chamois-rouge à coeur noir. Texture grossière contenant dégraissants végétaux et micas dorés. Surface externe revêtue d'un engobe brun, lissé.
