Description
The round offering table with conical base is known from the beginning of the Early Dynastic Period onwards. Unlike the later offering basins, these round offering tables were not always placed in front of the false door in the superstructure, that is, in the actual offering place, but at least during the first three dynasties could also be found in the subterranean parts of the tomb, in the burial chamber itself or in one of the adjacent magazines.
