Description
This bowl of clay painted in black comes from the excavations of J. Garstang at Meroe in 1909-1910. The inside rim is provided with a decoration, repeated six times. On the outside, one notices several finely incised marks.

Deze zwart beschilderde kom in klei is afkomstig uit de opgravingen van J. Garstang te Meroë in 1909-1910. De binnenrand is voorzien van een versiering die zes maal herhaald wordt. Aan de buitenzijde ziet men enkele fijn ingesneden streepjes.
Ce bol en argile peint en noir provient des fouilles de J. Garstang à Méroé en 1909-1910. Le bord intérieur est muni d'une décoration, six fois répétée. A l'extérieur, on remarque quelques traits finement incisés.
Diese Schale aus schwarz bemaltem Ton stammt aus den Grabungen J. Garstangs in Meroe in den Jahren 1909-1910. Der Innenrand ist mit einer sechsmal wiederholten Dekoration versehen. An der Außenseite sind einige fein eingeritzte Linien zu bemerken.
Questa ciotola di argilla dipinta di nero proviene dagli scavi di J. Garstang a Meroe nel 1909-1910. Il bordo interno é munito di una decorazione ripetuta sei volte. All'esterno si notano alcuni tratti finemente incisi.
Este boiäo de argila pintada de preto foi encontrado nas escavaçöes de J. Garstang em Meroé em 1909-1910. O bordo interior tem uma decoraçäo que se repete por seis vezes, e no exterior notam-se alguns traços finamente incisos.
Este cuenco de arcilla pintado de negro proviene de las excavaciones de J. Garstang en Meroe en 1909-1910. El borde interior está decorado con un motivo que se repite seis veces. En el exterior se puede ver algunos trazos delicadamente incisos.
