Description
In accordance with funerary customs after the 22nd Dynasty, the intestines were either left inside the body or put back into the mummy after having been wrapped separately. This piece is thus a dummy canopic jar, with the body and lid made of one piece. The lid has the jackal head of Duamutef.

Volgens de funeraire gebruiken in de 22e dynastie werden de ingewanden ofwel in het lichaam gelaten, ofwel teruggeplaatst nadat ze apart waren ingepakt. Deze canope is daarom massief, en het deksel en de vaas zijn uit een stuk gemaakt. Het deksel heeft de jakhalskop van Doeamoetef.
Selon les coutumes funéraires de la XXIIème Dynastie, les viscères étaient laissés à l'intérieur du corps ou replacés dans la momie après avoir été enveloppés séparément. Cet objet est donc un vase canope factice, la panse et le couvercle ayant été fabriqués en une seule pièce. La tête de chacal est celle de Douamoutef.
Entsprechend der Begräbnissitte seit der 22. Dynastie, die Eingeweide entweder im Körper zu belassen oder in separaten Bündeln in der Mumie beizusetzen, handelt es sich hier um eine Scheinkanope, bei der Deckel und Gefässkörper aus einem Stück gearbeitet sind. Dieses Kanopengefäss trägt den Kopf des schakalsköpfigen Duamutef.
In base ai costumi funerari della XXII dinastia i visceri erano lasciati dentro il corpo o rimessi nella mummia dopo essere stati avvolti separatamente. Questo oggetto è quindi l'imitazione di un vaso canopo, con il corpo e il coperchio che costituiscono un tutt'uno. Il coperchio ha la testa di sciacallo di Duamutef.
Segundo os costumes funerários da XXII Dinastia, os intestinos eram deixados no corpo ou colocados na múmia após terem sido embrulhados separadamente. Esta peça é, por isso, um vaso canopo falso, com corpo e tampa do jarro feita de uma só peça. A tampa tem a cabeça de chacal de Duamutef.
Según las costumbres funerarias de la Dinastía XX, los intestinos se dejaban o bien dentro del cuerpo o se introducían de nuevo en la momia después de haber sido vendados por separado. Por lo tanto, este vaso canopo es simulado, con la tapa y el cuerpo realizados de una sola pieza. La tapa tiene la cabeza de chacal de Duamutef.
