Description
A plain wooden fan holder, highly polished. The handle is short, the fan was hand-held as opposed to the full length versions often seen in wall scenes in tombs. The feathers would have been inserted within the narrow gap at the top, there are two holes underneath. The holder is uninscribed.

Semplice reggi-ventaglio in legno lucidato.
A plain wooden fan holder, highly polished. The handle is short, the fan was hand-held as opposed to the full length versions often seen in wall scenes in tombs. The feathers would have been inserted within the narrow gap at the top, there are two holes underneath. The holder is uninscribed.
