Description
A solid headrest, cut in block form from a single piece of wood. It has an oval base with the central column levelled out at the corners to create four additional faces, flaring outwards at the top and bottom. The headrest has a wide curve with the ends rounded, the left end noticeably higher than the right. (see General Comment in Advanced Mode/Reference)

Massieve hoofdsteun, in blokvorm gesneden uit een stuk hout. Het heeft een ovale basis. De middenzuil is bij de hoeken vlak gemaakt om vier extra zijden te scheppen die boven en beneden naar buiten uitwaaieren. De steun heeft een wijde boog met afgeronde einden, waarbij het linker uiteinde merkbaar hoger is dan het rechter. (Zie Algemeen commentaar in Uitgebreid/Referentie)
Appui-tête en bois sculpté d'une seule pièce. Il est pourvu d'une base ovale. La colonnette centrale a été façonnée de manière à la doter de quatre faces. Elle s'évase à la base et au sommet. L'appui-tête présente un large arc aux extrémités arrondies, le côté gauche étant manifestement plus haut que le droit. (voir Commentaire général en mode Avancé/Références).
Eine massive Kopfstütze, die en bloc aus einem Holzstück geschnitzt wurde. Sie besitzt eine ovale Basis mit einem Schaft, der oben und unten vier zusätzliche Seiten aufweist, die nach außen schwingen. Die Kopfstütze besitzt einen weiten Bogen mit abgerundeten Enden, wobei das linke Ende deutlich höher ist als das rechte. (Siehe Allgemeiner Kommentar in Expertenmodus/Referenz).
Solido poggiatesta tagliato in un blocco unico ci legno. Presenta una base ovale e la colonna centrale è livellata per creare quattro facce addizionali che si allargano sulla parte superiore ed inferiore. Il poggiatesta presenta un'ampia asta con le estremità rotonde, e la parte sinistra è notevolmente più alta della destra. (cfr. Commento generale nel Modulo Avanzato/Riferimenti).
Encosto de cabeça, sólido, esculpido, em bloco, de uma única peça de madeira. Tem base oval com coluna central nivelada nos cantos exteriores, criando quatro faces adicionais, mais larga no topo e base. O encosto apresenta curva com extremidades redondas, a extremidade esquerda claramente mais elevada do que a da direita. (ver Comentário Geral em Mode/Referência Avançado)
Sólido apoyacabezas cortado en un bloque a partir de una única pieza de madera. Tiene base ovalada con la columna central nivelada en los extremos para formar cuatro caras adicionales que se ensanchan en los extremos inferior y superior. El apoyacabezas tiene una ancha curva con los extremos redondeados; el izquierdo notablement más alto que el derecho. (ver Comentario General en Avanzado/Referencias).

General Comment
The headrest shows a development from the traditional Old Kingdom block form, especially those from Dishasha. Provenance: See Comment above. Site: Tomb 554. Preservation: There is some damage at the edges and base of curve.
