Description
A limestone canopic jar lid in the form of Amset, beautifully modelled and detailed. The shoulder length wig is ribbed to convey texture, the details such as the beard strap and pierced ears are very well defined. The face is painted red and incised, at the neck a line seems to indicate a collar, adding balance to the figure. The lid is solid and in excellent condition.

Kalkstenen deksel van canopenvaas in de vorm van Amset, zeer fraai gemodelleerd en gedetailleerd. Op de schouderlange pruik bootsen ribbels de textuur na en details zoals de baardriem en doorboorde oren zijn bijzonder goed gedefinieerd. Het gezicht is rood geschilderd en ingegraveerd, met op de nek een lijn die de kraag nabootst, hetgeen het stuk balans verleent. Het deksel is massief en in prachtige staat.
Couvercle de vase canope en calcaire représentant Amset, magnifiquement modelé et détaillé. La perruque tombant sur les épaules est nervurée pour imiter la texture. Les détails, comme le cordon de la barbe et les oreilles percées, sont admirablement rendus. Le visage est peint en rouge et gravé. Une ligne tracée au niveau du cou semble indiquer un collier, donnant équilibre à la figure. Le couvercle, en une seule pièce, est en excellent état.
Ein Kanopenkrugdeckel aus Kalkstein in Gestalt des Amset, der sehr schön geformt und detailliert ist. Die schulterlange Perücke ist in Nachahmung ihrer natürlichen Struktur gerippt, Details wie das Band zur Befestigung des Bartes und die durchbohrten Ohren sind sehr genau angegeben. Das Gesicht ist rot bemalt und eingeschnitten, eine Linie am Hals scheint einen Kragen anzudeuten, der der Figur zusätzliches Gleichgewicht verleiht. Der Deckel ist massiv und in ausgezeichnetem Zustand.
Coperchio di vaso canopo in calcare, avente la forma di Amset. Il pezzo è modellato in modo molto raffinato ed è reso con ricchezza di dettagli. La parrucca è lunga fino alle spalle ed è scanalata, i dettagli della barba e le orecchie forate sono definiti con ricchezza di dettagli. Il volto è dipinto di rosso ed è inciso. Sul collo vi è una linea che sembra indicare un collare, elemento che conferisce un certo equilibrio alla figura. Il coperchio è solido e risulta in condizioni eccellenti.
Tampa de vaso de vísceras , em calcário, com a forma de Imseti, excelentemente modelado e detalhado. A peruca, pelos ombros, está estriada, a fim de lhe conferir mais volume e textura. Detalhes, como os da tira da barba e perfuraçao das orelhas, estao muito bem definidos. A face está gravada e pintada de vermelho e o pescoço apresenta linha a indicar o colar, o que confere um certo equilíbrio à figura. A tampa é sólida e encontra-se em excelente estado de conservaçao.
Tapadera de un vaso canopo de caliza con la forma de Amset, bellamente modelada y detallada. La peluca hasta los hombros tiene nervaduras para transmitir la textura; los detalles, como la cinta de la barba o los agujeros de las orejas están muy bien definidos. La cara está pintada de rojo e incisa; en el cuello hay una línea que podría querer representar un collar, lo que añadiría equilibrio a la figura. La tapadera es sólida y está en excelente estado de conservación.
