The Museum of Brussels preserves a whole collection of mace head in an oval rounded form dating from the Naqada Period. This example, which was purchased in the art trade of Luxor in 1905, seems to be made from peridotite (see E.2348)

Le Musée de Bruxelles conserve toute une collection de têtes de massues de forme ovale arrondie datant de la Période Nagada. Cet exemplaire, qui a été acheté dans le commerce d'art de Louqsor en 1905, semble être fabriqué en péridotite (voir E. 2348).
