Description
A pottery canopic jar with the lid in the form of a human head. Both jar and lid are finely worked, the jar has traces of an inscription in black ink on it's side, now very faded. The face on the hollow lid is well-modelled, the wig and facial features are detailed in black. Inside the jar are the remains of fine linen bandages, now discoloured.

Aardewerken canopenvaas met deksel in de vorm van een mensenhoofd. Vaas en deksel zijn fraai bewerkt. Op de zijkant van de vaas zijn sporen in zwarte inkt te zien van een inscriptie, maar die is zeer bleek geworden. Het gezicht op het holle deksel is goed gemodelleerd. De pruik en gelaatstrekken zijn in zwart aangezet. In de kruik bevinden zich de resten van verkleurde linnen windsels.
Vase canope muni de son couvercle en forme de tête humaine. Le vase et le couvercle creux ont été tous deux habilement travaillés. Le vase a conservé les traces d'une inscription réalisée à l'encre noire. Cette inscription est aujourd'hui très altérée. Le visage présente un beau modelé; les détails de la perruque et les traits faciaux ont été réalisés en noir. Le vase contient encore les vestiges de bandelettes de lin fin. Le tissu est maintenant décoloré.
Ein Kanopenkrug aus Keramik mit einem Deckel in Form eines menschlichen Kopfes. Krug und Deckel sind fein gearbeitet, auf einer Seite des Kruges befinden sich Spuren einer Inschrift aus schwarzer, jetzt verblaßter Tinte. Das Gesicht auf dem hohlen Deckel ist gut geformt, Perücke und Gesichtszüge sind schwarz hervorgehoben. Im Krug liegen noch Reste feiner, verfärbter Leinenbinden.
Vaso canopo con coperchio in terracotta avente la forma di una testa umana. Sia il vaso che il coperchio sono finemente lavorati, ed il vaso porta tracce di un'iscrizione in nero, ora molto sbiadita, su un lato. Il volto sul coperchio cavo è ben modellato, la parrucca ed i lineamenti del volto sono resi nei loro dettagli in nero. All'interno del vaso vi sono i resti di fasce di lino, ora scolorite.
Vaso de vísceras, em cerâmica, e tampa, com forma de cabeça humana. Ambos o vaso e tampa estao minuciosamente trabalhados, o vaso apresenta vestígios de inscriçao, em preto, de lado, já bastante sumido. A face, na parte cavidade da tampa, está bem modelada, a peruca e os traços faciais detalhados a preto. No interior, o vaso apresenta vestígios de faixas finas de linho, já descoloradas.
Vaso canopo de cerámica con la tapadera en forma de cabeza humana. Tanto el vaso como la tapadera están magníficamente trabajados; el vaso presenta restos de una inscripción con tinta negra en uno de sus laterales; en la actualidad está muy borrada. El rostro de la tapadera hueca está bien modelado; la peluca y los rasgos faciales están detallados con negro. Dentro de la jarra hay restos de vendas de lino, descoloridas.
