Object''s History
From Garstang's excavations at Meroe in 1910, the bowl was part of the MacGregor collection sold at Sotheby's in 1922. The bowl came in to the Museum as part of the gift from the Trustees of the Wellcome Foundation for the History of Medicine in 1973.
